Fritz Quasthoff as part of Spatiality – a group exhibition exploring the quality or character of being spatial or related to space.

The visual universe in the series of illustrations We like it here oscillates between presence and absence across multiple dimensions. Form emerges only to recede again. Spatial presence and dissolution coexist. The works shift between spatial structure and emotional resonance, with the imagery bearing traces of time, bodily presence, and tension. Drawn with graphite on paper, the compositions balance between architectural suggestion and painterly gesture. What initially appears as landscape gives way to denser formations, where lines, masses, and voids interact with light.

Fritz Quasthoff graduated from Kungl. Konsthögskolan in 2005 and remains affiliated with the institution as a Technician. His practice consists of physical resonance and abstract ambiguity. As part of the artist-run collective StudioABC, he presented his latest solo exhibition at Konsthallen ABC in March 2024.
